Initial Facilitator Zoom Videoconference

Complimentary

This initial facilitator videoconference is strictly reserved for communication between the facilitator and IFB Bank. Participation is limited to the facilitator duly presenting the prospective client and their mandate, structure, and purpose. Prospective clients themselves do not attend this session.

The compliance videoconference with the facilitator takes place before the submission of the preliminary Know-Your-Customer (KYC) documentation and prior to any direct interaction with the client or account approval. It forms a step in the compliance evaluation process, enabling IFB Bank’s compliance officers to:

  • understand the identity of the prospective client and the authorisation of the facilitator
  • assess the mandate under which the facilitator is acting if any
  • clarify the proposed client’s structure and intended banking relationship
  • evaluate the legitimacy and origin of funds
  • identify any red flags, inconsistencies, or documentation gaps
  • determine whether the case qualifies for advancement to a client-facing KYC stage

Procedure

Kindly schedule and thereafter complete the questionnaire before proceeding to book your meeting.
